FAQ - Gemstone Broker in China.

1. Cooperating Workflow
(A)For big miners or dealers, send me some specimens first, I will take the specimens to meet big gem buyers in China. Once they want to buy large quantity with your price, I will tell them to fly to your country to purchase from you. After the deal, I get commission from you.
(B)For small gem dealers, tell me what competitive stone you have, instead of what stone you can find. Meanswhile, send me photos pf gems in detail, and tell me your wholesale price. Then I will show photo and price to my buyers group, if a lot of them are interested in your photo and price, I will ask you to send me some specimens for the next step. If your gems isn't suitable for China market, I won't ask you to send specimens. After your specimens are received, I will show to many real big buyers to check quality in a short time. And you can set a minimun price, I will try to sell your specimens in a higher price than the minimum price. Once the specimens are sold out, I will take commission, and send the balance to you via Western Union or bank transfer. And then you send me more gems to sell in China. If your specimens can't be sold out, I will return them to your address or your partners address via China Post registered airmail.
(C)Take your rough gems and fly to China, I take you to visit the trade market and to meet my buyers. You can talk about price with buyers face to face, I can be your interpreter. And help you to transfer money to abroad and arrange the shippment.

2. What is My Commission?
10% for order which is less than 10,000USD; 7% for order from 10,000USD to 49,999USD; 5% for order which is from 50,000USD

3. Why My Comissison is Higher than Brokers in Your Country(usually 5%)?
I do more work on logistics, go across the China Customs, and money transfering to you(China doesn't allow money flowing to other countries freely)
I have many real big buyers which are factory bosses, they can buy your rough gems in a better price and repeat order each month. You can get a good profit in long term business.

4. Can I Get Price from China only by Photos?
If you want to send me photos, then ask me about how much you can sell in China. My answer is NO. If you come to China with your gems, I can take you to meet buyers here face to face, check gems, talk about price, make a cash deal. But I am unable to estimate your photos' price in China. As chinese buyers never offer s price to photos, although you have very good photos. What I can tell you is what kind/quality of gems is in high demand in China. If you want to get a price for your gems without coming to China. You can send me samples, I will show to buyers to get a price for your gems.

5. How to Set a Right Price?
Many African miners and dealers always think Chinese buyers will buy their gemstone in 5 - 10 times of their sale price in Africa. That is wrong, in China, if you want to sell your rough gemstones to jewelry factory bosses or big cutting merchants. Your price has to compete with their purchasing agents in Africa who are usually their friends or partner or brothers. To compete with Indian or Brazilian middle men, those foreign middle men usually take rough gems or loose gems to show them in Guangzhou China, to send chinese bosses photos and price from mines directly everyday. Chinese buyers' supply channel are stable in most of time, they know price well. We recommend to set a serious sale price in 120%-150% of your local sale price. Chinese buyers can pay cash in large order, and will repeat order every month. You can get more long term profit.

6. Why is the Real & Big Buyers in Guangzhou?
Guangzhou is the Colored Gems Jewelry Manufacturering Center in China(exclude diamond jewelry). There are a lot of gems cutters and resellers to sell cut/polished gems to jewelry manufacturers in Guangzhou. The gems cutters/resellers buy rough gems from Hong Kong, Brazil and Africa, then cut into loose gems. or they buy loose gems from Thailand, then resell in Guangzhou. Most of colored gems jewelries in the world are made in Guangzhou. Most of gems must be sent to Guangzhou and set on jewelry in Guangzhou. So Guangzhou buyers needs the largest quantity of gems in best price.

7. China Market Demand for Rough Gemstones - 2019?
Now in China, the gem market demand is very weak since 2014, Although there are a lot of buyers in China. Most of buyers have plenty of stock of medium or low quanity rough gems, they don't want to buy more, that is why most of rough gems are very diffiuclt to sell out. If you are a foreign miner/dealer who have a lot of rough gems and can't sell out in your local market, you can come to China to make a trial, because here are a lot of buyers, but the price may make you disppointed, if you just want to sell out your gems in a high price here, it will a be a waste of time and air ticket fare.
